Dunsborough Woodworks has been operating in the Dunsborough for many years. The business was originally owned and run by local identity Bob Monkman. Bob was a trailblazer in the South West and made a name for his craftsmanship that encompassed residential cabinetry and high quality heirloom furniture.

The current business has been through a few phases and is now owned by Kim Beers, who was once employed by Bob Monkman. Kim learnt his craft in the early years in Fremantle and then spent time working in London before coming back to make his home in Dunsborough. He has much time exploring, travelling and surfing Australia and Europe in the meantime.

Dunsborough Woodworks operates with a small, highly skilled team. The people you meet and discuss your job with will be the people who make your cabinetry and furniture. Each piece is made individually without the mass production you see in many operations now. The advantage of this is that troubleshooting can happen along the way and you can be consulted as thins arise.

We are happy to work with you to produce a plan or alternatively are equally at home following your provided specified plans. We are also able to work on a variety of jobs including large new builds, through to a small bathroom renovation or a bespoke piece of furniture.
